He specializes in the sale of large acreage tracts, timber tracts, farms, mountain property, recreational tracts, investment properties, and commercial and subdivision developments throughout the Southeast. Mitch is very involved in the real estate community. He is a member of the National Association of Realtors, the Georgia Association of Realtors, the Realtors Land Institute, and the Hall County Board of Realtors. A Hall County native, Mitch is a graduate of North Hall High School. He attended Young Harris College where he received his Associate of Science in Business. Then Mitch received his Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from the University of Georgia, majoring in Agricultural Economics. During his studies at the University of Georgia Mitch spent several months studying abroad in New Zealand, Fiji, and Australia. Mitch is currently working on his Accredited Land Consultant (ALC) designation through the Realtors Land Institute (RLI), and hopes to begin working on acquiring his Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation soon. He has taken many specialty courses through the Realtors Land Institute. They include Land Investment Analysis, 1031 Tax Deferred Exchanges, Site Selection, Land Development, Creative Land Planning, Land 101, Timber Analysis, Conservation Easements, Maptech Terrain Navigator Pro Mapping Course, and DeLORME Mapping Course, just to name a few. Mitch also spent one summer interning with John Davis, Southern Heritage Land Company's Consulting Forester. He helped John cruise and take inventory of timber, analyze and interpret data collected in the field , formulate the value of timber on property, and supervise logging operations. In his free time, Mitch enjoys spending time in the great outdoors. He is an avid hunter, fly fisherman, backpacker, and photographer. Mitch is licensed in Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Alabama.
